Molina Honors Residents at its 10th Annual Community Champions Awards in San Diego

Molina Healthcare of California recently honored five unsung heroes at its 10th annual Community Champions Awards in San Diego. The event included dinner, entertainment, and an award presentation, where each winner received a trophy and a $1,000 grant to donate to a nonprofit of their choice.
This year’s extraordinary volunteers in San Diego and their grant recipients are:
- Art MacWhinnie – Deaf Community Services of San Diego
- Mohammed Tuama – Newcomers Support & Development
- Tinesia Conwright – DETOUR
- Eric Lovett – Urban Street Angels
- Eden Torres-Nunez – E3Civic High School
The Community Champions Awards program was established in 2006 to celebrate everyday heroes whose passion and volunteerism make the world a better place.
