VSP® provides Medicaid vision benefits to Molina Healthcare of Iowa members. Vision providers will receive a communication from VSP for further steps required. Providers can find more resources after go live by visiting eyefinity.com. If you have any questions about your participation in the Medicaid network as a Vision provider, please contact VSP at providerrecruitment@vsp.com. Molina Healthcare of Iowa cares about our members’ health and is continually enhancing programs to improve the quality of care. We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Evolent, formerly known as New Century Health, as the administrator of Molina Healthcare Oncology/Radiation Oncology Quality Management program, as well as the Cardiology Quality Management program. *NEW* Evolent Expansion for Advanced Imaging: August 1, 2026

We are expanding our collaboration with Evolent as the administrator of the Molina Healthcare Advanced Imaging Program. MHIA Medicare and Medicaid members will require prior authorization through Evolent for select advanced imaging services being rendered in a provider office, freestanding diagnostic facility or outpatient hospital. Additional program information and Evolent training session dates can be located at here. *NEW PARTNER* TurningPoint: Musculoskeletal (MSK) Surgical Quality and Safety Management Program

The program is designed to work collaboratively with physicians to promote patient safety through the practice of high quality and cost-effective care for Molina members undergoing Musculoskeletal Surgical Procedures.

Diabetes Care Virtual Webinar Series

Molina Iowa has created a virtual Diabetes Care series for your Members! We encourage Members to join in if they are an adult with:

  • Diabetes or Pre-Diabetes (or have had a history of these conditions)
  • Or are a caregiver of someone with Diabetes

They can also earn multiple Healthy Rewards through Molina (must meet qualification criteria).
